| I got this car in the winter of 2002. The owner said it hasn't been on the road for ten years. It only has 18,000 miles on it. The engine was a 1200 and started right up. The car was 6 volt , I changed it over to 12. It needed alot of work. put in knew front lights,new bulbs,brakes,master cyclinder,rear shocks, battery, battery cables, VDO oil guage, rear axle boots,transmission mount,and a boot to go over the hand brake. Also installed two dummy light's, one for turn signal,and the other for high beam. I repainted the hand brake,shift stick, and the steering wheel collum. I also sprayed the underneath with 3 cans of under coat. I ordered two new windows from sunray, still waiting on,Took the 1200 engine out and built a 1700. We ordered all the parts from kustom 1 warehouse in orange california. After getting it built we lett it run for an hour or two on the engine stand before putting it in. I got plates and took it for a ride, i get alot of thumbs up, and looks |
