| I purchased my GT kit direct from Bradley Automotive in March of 1976. On April 12th, the kit was delivered in the big Bradley truck that's shown in the factory brochures. On May 23rd, just 43 days later, the car was completed and on the road. The original scheme was root beer metalflake with a rawhide interior. Since then, I have disassembled and rebuilt the car four times, painting and re-upholstering each time, and making numerous subtle improvements to the GTs functionality during each resurrection. Now, 27 years later, the car has more than 510 thousand miles of highway behind it, and is still an interesting, practical and reliable daily driver. |
