Chris's Story
I bought this body with all 4 fenders collapsed and no chassis no headlight parts, no drivers door, no rear window and no electrical at all for $200, and a dead empty pan for $100 just to roll it around in December 2000. I spent countless hours redoing the fiberglass and wireing it from scratch. (Fiero fuse boxes work great, they are well labeled and easy to pull out of the doner car.) I bought a wrecked '69 vw got it running then moved the body over driving it for the first time on fathers day 2002. Put the vw body on the dead pan and sold it for 200.00. during all this I broke the original windshield installing it and found from the Message Board that the '67 corvette windshield is the one. (THANKS GUY'S!!) The rear window, headlight system, and drivers door are all hand made (or more acuratly scrapped together.) and I will try to help anyone who asks how to make these parts with detailed explanations and or pictures. The lights are using the main switch panel from an M60A3 US Army tank and the pistolgrip shifter is the TC's over ride from the same. (I spent 8 years on those puppy's) Next step is the corvair engine and hot oil heater system
