| Hi! My car is has a very special story to it. My Grandfather and I built it back in the late 70s. 76 or 77 I think.
My Grandfather drove this car until he was in his 70s and then said that it was to hard for him to get in and out of. This is the car that I learned how to drive in!!! Can you imagine, what a lucky girl. Anyway, the car then was kicked out of the garage for about 5 years, until I graduated from college and it was given to me as a graduation gift. It only had about 5700 miles on it when I got it. Now it has just barely over 6000. ;-)
When I picked up the car, it had not been started or even ran for 5 years, my husband and I replaced the battery, and fuel lines gave her some new gas AND she started right up and I drove her home 125 miles!!!
My husband was transferred to Florida about 2 years ago, since we have been down here, I have only driven it a couple of times. (Until the tabs ran out last year.) I have struggled finding insurance for it, and now she just needs some work to get her back on the road. I meet a fellow Bradley owner from this web site and hopefully he and I will be able to do her right sometime in the near future.
