Alexander's Story
My car looked very much like Chantels when i bought it, same color gelcoat, etc. The engine was blown, clutch and brakes were shot, interior trash, gelcoat severely oxidized etc. I restored the car in time for the fall Litchfield show where I met Jeff and a few other cool members of the elite Bradley world. On my website you can see Jeffs awesome Chromavision paint job behind my Brad. I painted my car black and put clear glass crystals with facets cut into them in the first two coats of clear. The effect was the car stayed black but the crystals would change color with the light spectrum like you would see the colors when you hang a glass crystal from your rear view mirror. then i put nine more coats of clear for depth and demension. It was pretty wild. The car won first place at the providence civic center.
Now I'm cutting it up again, must be crazy or really bored, I have always wanted to design my own car from scratch. what better body doner could you ask for than a bradley for such a project. So here I go again, I hope to have it done for early spring. I started this project with my heart set on Carlisle 2003, however I will not be able to go to this year. It appears that my daughter's school has also selected that weekend for graduation. Priorities don't cha know. I will ,...come hell or high water be at the Terryville and Litchfield shows! I hope to see you all there. Warmest reguards Al
